Day 2 of the I-ShopTheWorld.com “Tour” of The Caymans , Thursday, July 4th, consisted of a very nice breakfast overlooking the beach, an afternoon enjoying the warm tropical sun B-) beautiful white sand beach and turquoise waters here along Seven Mile Beach of Grand Cayman island.

Sonya was busy actively and successfully recruiting locally I-ShopTheWorld.com Associates/Representatives for The Caymans, in addition to acquiring more referrals for potential Associates in additional countries, like The Philippines ! :)

So it looks like we will have already also secured an Associate here in The Caymans to begin handling Worldwide orders of the Tortuga Rum Cakes, as well as the other Local Native Arts and Crafts, spices, etc. local here to Grand Cayman .  We also received a recommendation from our horseback riding guide (/stable owner) Noland (more about the horseback riding trip below ;) ) for yam and cassava cakes also produced here in Grand Cayman for which we will also be seeking contact with a supplier here so we may also begin to offer You All these tasty yam and cassava cakes from Grand Cayman as soon as possible too! :)

We were then picked up from our resort by Noland (the owner of Coral Stone Stables ) for our evening horseback riding excursion.  After a pleasant drive across the island of Grand Cayman we arrived at Coral Stone Stables and Noland promptly saddled up Reality for Sonya and Babyface for Michael and Jesse for himself.  We meandered about for approximately two (2) hours on the trails under the beautiful multi-colored flowering poinsettia trees  and amidst the calls of the local parrots.  The apex of our horseback riding trip culminated with a ride along the clean sandy beach watching the waves breaking off of the offshore reef and amidst the numerous pieces of coral that had washed ashore along the protected marine park aside which we rode.

Noland was a wonderful guide and filled us in on much of the history, recent and current happenings in Grand Cayman as well as teaching us much about the local flora and fauna.

All of the horses we saw at Coral Stone Stables all appeared to be in good shape and well cared for, which is an important factor to us! :)

We would have to say that this was probably the nicest horseback riding excursion we have experienced to date in our travels :)

We Highly Recommend that Anyone traveling to Grand Cayman interested in a horseback riding excursion, contact Noland at Coral Stone Stables.  They have morning and evening rides for riders of all experiences levels, from beginners to experienced riders.  They also offer a “swim the horses” ride where you ride / “swim with” your horse straight out into the ocean surf out to the offshore reef and back.  Sounds like a Blast! :) And like something we will just have to do next time we visit Grand Cayman! ;)

Upon returning to our resort, we again enjoyed a wonderful candlelight dinner listening to the ocean waves lap on the beach and watching some (small) fireworks that some other American guests must have brought with them to celebrate the 4th of July (/Independence Day) while on their vacation here in Grand Cayman! :)

Tomorrow, July 5th we will be meeting with our new local I-ShopTheWorld.com Associate here in Grand Cayman, sampling many of the wonderful different flavors of Tortuga Rum Cakes and identifying other Unique Native Products local to The Caymans which we may wish to share with The World through I-ShopTheWorld.com ;)
